Is Transhuman Agenda Possible
Scientists have tried to make improvements in the human system by making it part human and part machine. There are several critics of this movement who believe this innovation may change the original intent of God’s creation by subjecting man to think like a computer. It is ironic to imagine that computers will be more advanced in thinking than humans. This is because even the most sophisticated system you can ever think of is being designed and created by humans. They are all products of creative thinking, if humans can design these devices that means it can’t be possible for machines to operate faster than the human brain. The concept behind creating a transhuman shouldn’t be viewed as a means of replacing man’s thinking faculty as this will create a situation where man will now be controlled to act by an external force.
Most critics who kick against this say that transhumans will erode humans’ natural ability. That means humans will no longer have independent thoughts, their ideas, and thought patterns will be enhanced by a computerized system. Creating a human that constitutes both man with machine will certainly be an achievement to scientists. It is not yet certain how reliable or efficient the transhuman system will be.
Creating a human being that is controlled from the outside will likely put the entire world at risk because a single individual or entity can decide what you say, or how you act. God’s concept of creation was to create a personality that had free will to think and make his personal decisions. The new kind of creation is more like a contradiction to God’s original plan.
Although it will certainly be a major scientific breakthrough, the consequences are yet to be revealed. Imagine if you wanted to travel to Spain but, a device incorporated into your sensory organs tells you to travel instead to the US. Transhumans may take your will and force a device that makes you think outside your will. There are still some mixed opinions on whether the innovation will add more value or take away human thinking abilities. By trying to enhance human cognitive and sensory perceptions, it will no longer be possible to have people think without being influenced by an external system. Scientists have spent decades trying to seek better ways to improve society and how people relate, but it is important to exercise caution to avoid creating what may end up becoming destructive.
